The Unknown Land

This whole day, I've been daydreaming about a fascinating island. This island felt completely cut off from the rest of the world. Since all of its characteristics are enigmatic and unearthly, this island seems to be alien. The closest land to the island's shores is about 2000 kilometres away. It's so far away that it took decades for people to discover it.This was the last time an obscure piece of land was found somewhere on the world. Both of these details contribute to the mystery surrounding this tropical paradise. The population of the island is estimated to be about 1000 people. It's still a mystery how their forefathers came to be on this island. The islanders' primary duties are fishing and fruit picking. They also undergone comprehensive training in their respective fields.

The large coral reef that surrounds the bay is a spectacular feature of the island. Several rare and endangered marine species can be found on the reef. The most pressing question facing the islanders is climate change. Climate change casts doubt on their survival, as more storms develops it results in weakening of both the reef and the island. Humans were able to live in such a remote area by collaborating. If the reef is lost, the people on the islands will perish. Owing to the actions of outsiders, like ourselves, the island and its inhabitants are facing an existential crisis.
